Hinckley Springs® water quality,
because every drop counts.

Clean, safe drinking water.

What is in that water you just drank? Is it safe for drinking? Water quality has been the focus of news headlines lately, and for good reason. Safe drinking water is a key factor of a healthy lifestyle. Depending on where you live, the quality of your water resources might be affected. Hinckley Springs® is here to help by offering a safe alternative. Remember, water is essential in our lives. After all, the human body is up to 60% water.*

As a food manufacturer, Hinckley Springs® is subject to production, packaging, quality, safety, security, labeling and distribution standards at the federal level. What does Hinckley Springs® water go through before it gets to you? You'd be surprised.

Hinckley Springs® must meet many quality standards before we pass it on to you.

FDA regulations.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulates bottled water products and sets strict standards to protect consumers and ensure these products are safe to drink. These standards are administered under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA). The FDA periodically inspects the Hinckley Springs® production facilities and examines the company's compliance with applicable federal bottled water regulatory standards.

IBWA industry regulations.

In addition to existing stringent regulatory standards for bottled water, the International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) also maintains a strict Bottled Water Code of Practice for its bottler members. As an IBWA member of more than 20 years, Hinckley Springs® meets or exceeds the bottled water industry quality standards. Bottler members of IBWA in some instances are required to meet more stringent bottled water quality standards than those set by the FDA.

WQA treatment standards.

Founded in 1974, the Water Quality Association (WQA) is a not-for-profit international trade association comprised of more than 2,500 members representing the residential, commercial and industrial water treatment industry. As a proud member of the WQA, we have the distinction of operating as a responsible company that meets or exceeds the standards set for water treatment or conditioning by this internationally recognized organization.
